Okay the first thing is that you don't need the watermark on this and it makes it harder to see or like - consider if you really need it because the DA watermark is awful. If you do want a watermark I recommend that you make your own.

Moving on - do please read all of this because my normal routine is to highlight the opportunities to improve BEFORE I go into the stuff that's already fine and the things you may not have thought about doing to the picture at all - but if you think I'm being unfair with any of this please message me back or reply here and let me know. I'm not about hurting people's feelings but there's no point in doing a project like this if you aren't ready to hear ideas for improving. I'm clumsy sometimes but I don't set out to be mean!

Composition is fine, focus is a little off (maybe it was windy or maybe it's you - the shutter speed is a little slow) but the biggest problem with the photo is the light. It's SO flat that the purity of the blossom is completely lost! And that's a shame because cherry blossoms are gorgeous (proof: [link] - no not my picture although I wish it was - we get apple blossom here :) )

The good news? The basic image is spot on. Depth of field is great and the colour palette is nicely balanced with the green, pink, brown, and white. The things I've mentioned above can (usually) be fixed in Photoshop. Get the picture and play with the levels. Use White Balance to get the whites white, brighten it up with the exposure tool, tighten up the colours with saturation and contrast to compensate for the lack of light in this shot and lastly give it a sharpen - Unsharp Mask is always a good tool to begin with.

I'd demonstrate but there's no download option and the watermark makes it difficult but you should definitely spend some time on it. There's a really nice photo in here trying to get out!
